Floyd Mayweather inhabits a 22,000 square foot home in Las Vegas. It has been featured on MTV Cribs and it has been visited by many celebrities, including 50 Cents. Mayweather himself has said that although the act of boxing is individualistic, the sport itself is a team effort and everyone in his team has contributed in some way to the design of his Las Vegas pad. The house itself has three floors and is very contemporary in design.
Mayweather also has every woman’s dream in his home: a 2,000 square foot “cupboard”. Mayweather enjoys changing his clothing regularly, rarely wearing the same clothes twice. Although this may seem like wastage, he generally donates any items he has worn to his charity, the Floyd Mayweather Foundation.
According to Mayweather, the best room in the house is the private theatre. It includes an upstairs VIP lounge, suede walls and red leather sofas. The entire home is known as a “smart home”, meaning that everything his operated by remote control (from Mayweather’s phone!), including heating and lighting. Security is also incredibly high, of course, with highly technical CCTV cameras throughout the house and grounds.
Of course, a house that size takes some time keeping clean! Mayweather has had the same housekeeper for the past 16 years, who also cleans this latest home. However, besides her, there are two full time cleaning teams, as 22,000 square foot is truly too large for just one person to clean.
Mayweather himself admits that his home smells of money. No expenses are spared and he regularly makes changes to suit his latest needs. Mayweather is also extremely meticulous and he will notice the slightest flaw, which needs fixing immediately, of course. A pad the size of Mayweather’s home is truly one where you could lose yourself in for several days! Follow Mayweather Ortiz live streaming and see if Floyd will be able to continue to afford the most expensive homes out there!
